Description

The Cemetery Chapel, built in 1856 by C. E. Davis, is located on Bristol Road Lower. It is constructed from squared sandstone rubble with limestone dressings and features a tiled roof. The chapel has an asymmetrical plan and includes a three-stage buttressed tower at the northeast corner. The ground floor of the tower is open as a porch on three sides and has two light unglazed windows, topped by a hexagonal ashlar spire. There is also a gabled porch to the west. This chapel was originally part of a pair, which included a central spire.
