Description

Stow House is an attached house dating from around 1800, possibly earlier. It features stone walls with a roughcast finish and a slate roof with stone gable copings. There are rendered brick stacks at both the left and right gables. The facade is symmetrical and consists of two storeys with two to three windows, which are 20th-century metal casements with glazing bars. The ground floor has straight bay windows topped with hipped slate roofs. The front door has six moulded recessed panels, including two top lights, and is framed by a wooden Tuscan pilaster door surround. The area immediately in front of the house has a cobbled and stone surface.
