Description

Abbey Grange is a Grade I listed building located on Hospital Lane, dating back to 1625. The central part of the structure is derived from a 15th-century barn, which was adapted into a dwelling house in the 19th century, specifically in 1827. The building features a cruciform layout with projecting porch wings on the north and south sides. It has a stone-slate roof with gables. On the south side, there is a doorway that has been inserted beneath a segmental arch of the original wagon entrance, flanked by buttresses. Most of the windows and other features are from the 19th century adaptation.
