Description

These are a pair of late 18th or early 19th century buildings on the east side of North Square. They are constructed of Portland or Ridgeway stone, with hammer-dressed detailing, and have brick dressings. The roof is slate, with a central brick stack. The buildings are two storeys and have attics. The first floor has three sash windows with glazing bars; the ground floor has one. A 19th century shop window is present with fluted consoles and a cornice. There is one planked door and one part-glazed door. Two attic dormers, each with a casement window, are visible. Buildings 15 to 21 form a group.
