Description
Chubb's Almshouses are a red brick building with a 17th-century foundation, largely rebuilt in 1822. The front facade is of red brick, while the rear and gable ends are of stone rubble. The roof is slate, with stone slates at the eaves. The front features a stone entrance and stone mullioned windows, all with hood moulds. There is a ledged door with intersected ribs.
