Description
The remains of a former churchyard cross, dating from the 15th century, are situated in a location that is not its original position. The structure is made of stone and features a square base with a socket hole and claw-feet. The shaft is square and tapering, topped with a carved figure on a bracket, though this figure is very defaced, with a large hole sunk into the front. The shaft rises approximately 1 metre above the base. There is also a plaque with an inscription by the Sherborne Historical Society.
