Description
The Royal Oak is a public house built around 1800. It features stone walls that are roughcast and has a slate roof with a tile ridge. There are 20th-century brick stacks at the gable ends and on the left-hand gable extension. The main structure is two storeys high and has three windows, which are sash windows with glazing bars. The middle-upper window is a blocked sash. The front door is centrally located and has a hood with flush and recessed panelling, along with a 20th-century wooden door surround. There is a 20th-century extension on the left side, which is lower but also two storeys tall and has two bays, including a modern bay window. The interior of the building does not survive.
