Description

The Dairy Barn, including attached outbuildings on the north and south, is a building that has been converted into a house. The main structure likely dates from the late 18th century and features stone walls with brick dressings and buttresses. It has a slate roof with stone eaves courses and brick stacks. The building is two storeys high, created by the insertion of a floor.

There is a projecting cart entrance, which now serves as a porch, featuring a panelled door set in a recess with a brick arch. Slit openings are located on each side of the entrance, and above it is a modern window. To the north of the porch, there is a lean-to with a catslide roof, which includes one modern window and pigeon holes above. The ground floor has three modern casement windows, while the first floor has four similar windows.

The former cowhouse on the north side has brick and stone walls and a double Roman tiled roof. It is a single-storey structure with a ledged door and unglazed window openings. The outbuilding on the south side has been converted into a garage and features stone walls with brick dressings and a slate roof. It includes two garage doors and one modern casement window.
