Description
Nos 7 and 8 on Main Street are cottages that originated in the 17th century and were converted into two separate homes in the 19th century. They feature stone walls, some of which are roughcast, and have thatched roofs with brick stacks. The buildings are one storey high with attics. No. 7 has a ledged door and a ground floor that includes one horizontally sliding sash window with glazing bars. The attic contains one dormer with a similar sash window. No. 8 also has a ledged door, but this one includes a glass panel. Its ground floor has one horizontally sliding sash window with glazing bars, and the attic features one dormer with a similar sash window. There is a single-storey lean-to on the west side with a pantiled roof and a ledged door.
