Description

Nos. 25, 26, and 27 (Cobweb Cottage) on High Street in Winfrith Newburgh are cottages dating from the 17th to 18th century. They have recently been restored and converted into three separate cottages. The buildings feature brick and stone walls, thatched roofs, and brick stacks, arranged in an L-shaped block.

No. 27 is two storeys tall, with an entrance at the rear that includes a ledged door in a thatched porch. Each floor has three horizontally sliding sash windows with glazing bars. On the street side, the ground floor has two windows with glazing bars.

No. 25 is also two storeys high and has a ledged door. Each floor features two horizontally sliding sash windows with glazing bars.

No. 26 has one storey with attics. It has a ledged door and the ground floor includes two horizontally sliding sash windows with glazing bars. The attic features two half-dormers with similar windows and fixed shaped side lights.

Please note that the large barn at the rear, which was included in the original listing, has been demolished.
