Description
Cuckoo Nod is a cottage that is part of a terrace, likely built in the early 19th century. It features stone walls with brick dressings and a thatched roof, along with a brick chimney stack. The cottage has two storeys, and there is a single-storey extension on the south side with brick walls and a tiled roof, which includes two casement windows with glazing bars.
The main house has a modern oak door set in a thatched timber porch. On the ground floor, there are two casement windows—one of which has replaced a door—and a horizontally sliding sash window, all featuring glazing bars. The first floor has two additional casement windows with glazing bars. Inside, one room on the ground floor boasts a large open fireplace with a timber lintel.
