Description

Wareham Cottage is a detached cottage dating from the 18th century. It features rubble-stone walls and a thatched roof with stone gable-copings. There are brick stacks at both the left and right gables. The cottage is two storeys high and has a balanced facade with two windows. The windows are three-light wooden casements with wooden lintels and cills. On the west gable wall, there is a two-light stone mullion window with a cavetto profile. The front door is centrally located, made of wood with flush panels and a wooden lintel above. The front area is enclosed by iron railings with arrow-head finials, and there are two gates set into a continuous rubble-stone sleeper wall.
