Description
Yew Tree House is a detached house built in the late 18th century and early 19th century. It features rubble-stone walls with a brick wall and stone quoins on the south elevation. The roof is made of wooden shingles, hipped at the south end, and has stone gable-coping at the right-hand end. There are two brick stacks, one at the north gable and another at the gable of the tall south end.
On the east elevation, the house has two storeys with four windows, which are three-light iron casements with leaded lights and wooden lintels. The front door is made of planks and is sheltered by a porch that has a stone rubble base and leaded windows above, also covered by a hipped shingle roof. The south elevation has two storeys and features one sash window with glazing bars, complemented by stone architraves and cills.
