Description

The stables and coach house, located 40 meters south of Ranston, date back to 1785, as indicated by the initials 'RWB' on the building. Constructed of brick, the structure features a hipped slate roof and is designed in an L-plan, consisting of a single storey with lofts. The building has a seven-window range, showcasing round-headed windows with stone keystones. A central archway, which has a semi-circular brick head and a keystone, also displays the date. The east wing includes four elliptically headed openings that are fitted with double plank doors.
