Description

The ornamental bridge located 250 meters southwest of Ranston dates from the mid-18th century. It spans a dam between two ornamental lakes and is constructed from greensand ashlar. The bridge features three semi-circular arches, which are moulded only on the north side and have plain keystones. There are plain pilaster strips positioned between the arches, and a plat band runs above them. The balustrade is adorned with vase-shaped balusters.
