Description

Church Cottages consists of three cottages that likely originated in the 17th century but have been extensively altered, probably in the early 19th century. The cottages feature rubble walls with ashlar dressings and have a tiled roof with end brick stacks. They are nearly symmetrical, standing two storeys high with attics, and have a five-window range, including three gabled dormers in the central bays. The windows are two-light casements with leaded lights, except for those separating the front doors, which are single-light. The cottages have wooden lintels and part-glazed plank doors. The two cottages on the right appear to incorporate masonry from an earlier building.
