Description
Knaveswell Farmhouse is a farmhouse that likely dates from the late 17th century and has been altered over time. It features rubble stone walls and a stone slate roof, with one stone stack and one plastered stack at the ends. The building is one storey high with an attic. There is a stone porch with a lean-to roof, and a 20th-century glazed door, along with one blocked doorway. On the ground floor, there are two casement windows with glazing bars. The attic includes three pent-roofed dormers, each with similar casements. At the rear, there is an extension that is also one storey and has an attic, built in matching materials. To the left end, there is a single-storey lean-to extension with a corrugated asbestos roof. The main room on the ground floor features a large open fireplace with a timber lintel.
