Description
There are three table tombs located approximately 15 metres south of the chancel in Netherbury, dating from the 17th and 18th centuries.
The first tomb commemorates Elizabeth, though the rest of the inscription is illegible. It features fielded-panel pilasters and a hipped top block, dating from the mid-18th century.
The second tomb marks the resting place of Frances, the wife of John Whittle of Mangerton, who died in 1677. This tomb is significantly sunken into the ground and has a large top block.
The third tomb has illegible inscriptions and is made from weathered Blue Lias panels, featuring fluted-panel pilasters and Corinthian capitals, dating from the early 18th century.
