Description

These are a pair of 19th-century buildings located on South Mill Lane. They are constructed of hammer-dressed stone, with No. 8 having a roughcast finish. The roofs are pitched and slate-covered, featuring a red brick stack. The buildings are two storeys high. No. 6 has a door with three fielded panels. No. 8 has a modern door set within a deep-set porch; the ground-floor casements of No. 8 are also modern. Nos. 2 to 16 (even numbers) form a group with the walls of the Friends’ Burial Ground on South Street.
