Description
Lower Farmhouse is a farmhouse built in the late 18th century, with later additions. It features coursed rubble walls and a tiled roof with gable ends. The building is two storeys high and has five bays. Throughout the farmhouse, there are wooden casements with leaded lights. A porch supported by narrow columns and featuring a simple entablature is present. There is one stack at the end and another to the left of the centre, which may be at the gable of the original house. The interior fittings date from the late 18th century. The eaves level appears to have been raised, and the house was originally thatched.
