Description

This is a 19th century building on Church Street, consisting of two properties, number 48 and number 49. It is two storeys high and has one window bay and a separate outer doorway for each property. The roof is slate and gabled, and the front of the building is stuccoed. The windows are sash windows with 3 panes to each. Number 48 has a plain doorway with a stuccoed reveal, a 4-panelled door where the top two panels have been cut away and glazed, and a rectangular fanlight above the door. Two steps lead up to the doorway. Number 49 also has a 4-panelled door with the top two panels glazed, and a rectangular fanlight; a tall architrave frame frames the doorway. Numbers 46 to 57, inclusive, form a group with the Parish Church of St Michael, the churchyard wall and railings, and the Infants' School.
