Description

47 Church Street is a 19th-century building featuring a two-storey structure with an attic. The front is colourwashed, and it has a slate gabled roof. Above, there are two windows, and the eaves have a cornice. The dormers are boxed and have two-light casements. The first-floor sash windows consist of three panes wide on the left and four panes wide on the right. On the ground floor, there is a five-pane wide sash window with horns on the right side. To the left, the doorway is set in deep reveals and features a six-panelled door, with the top four panels cut away and glazed. This building is part of a group that includes Nos 46 to 57, the Parish Church of St Michael, the churchyard wall and railings, and the Infants' School.
