Ireson Cottage is a 17th-century cottage built of coursed squared rubble, topped with a gabled pantiled roof. It features brick end stacks, with the right stack having been renewed. The cottage is two storeys high and has a two-window range with a central door. The left bay contains two-light stone mullioned windows both above and below, while the right bay has similar three-light windows. There is a 19th-century gabled wooden trellis porch that includes a part-glazed plank door.
