Description

Laburnum Cottage is a 17th-century cottage located on Sodom Lane in Marnhull. The exterior is constructed of squared, coursed rubble with a tiled, gable-ended roof. A brick stack is present on the left side and partway along the ridge to the right. The cottage has two storeys and originally featured a three-window front, with two and three-light, square-headed, stone mullioned windows containing horizontal glazing bars. Two round stone windows are positioned on the left side, the first-floor window of which is now blocked. A single-storey workshop with a slate roof is attached to the left side of the cottage.
