Description

The Post Office (Dial House) and Cote House are two houses built in the 18th and 19th centuries. They feature coursed rubble walls and slate roofs that are gable-ended with brick stacks at each end. The Post Office is three storeys high, while the adjoining house is two storeys, with an approximate four-window range. The windows are sash style, with the Post Office having vertical glazing bars and the adjoining house having full glazing bars. The Post Office also includes a 20th-century gabled stone porch with a sundial above it. The main facade of the adjoining house faces east and consists of three bays, featuring sash windows with glazing bars and a 20th-century stone porch.
