Description

Bay Tree Cottage is a late 17th or early 18th century cottage located on Burton Street, Marnhull. The cottage is built of rubble and has a thatched roof with brick stacks at each end and one positioned to the left of the centre. It is two storeys and an attic, with three irregular window ranges. The windows are casements with leaded lights. Interior features documented by the Royal Commission on Historical Monuments include chamfered ceiling beams and an open fireplace with an early 19th century basket grate set within a reeded marble chimney-piece.
