Description

Tennys Court is a house dating from the late 17th or early 18th century, located in Burton Street, Marnhull. It is constructed of colourwashed rubble walls with a thatched roof, and features gable ends with brick stacks. The windows are a mix of casements and sash windows, many with glazing bars. A gabled porch with 20th-century glazed doors provides access. Interior features documented by the Royal Commission on Historical Monuments include chamfered spine beams with run-out stops, and some 18th-century panelling.
