Description

This is a boundary stone located 450 metres north-west of Whiteway Farm House, marking the boundary between the parishes of Church Knowle and Steeple. It is probably from the 18th century. The east face of the stone is inscribed with the letter "K," while the west face has the letter "S." It also features an Ordnance Bench Mark, although the lettering has become somewhat indistinct over time. This stone is recorded as RCHM Monument 26 in Dorset Volume II.
