This is a boundary stone, probably from the 18th century, located on the south side of a fence in Broomley and Stocksfield, specifically at the grid reference NZ 04716067. The stone is made of sandstone and is roughly shaped, standing about 0.25 metres high. It has the letter "R" on the north side and "S" on the south side. It may have been re-set at some point.
