Description

This boundary stone, dating from the 18th century, is located on Sandbach Road in Newbold Astbury. It is made of red sandstone ashlar and has a rectangular shape with squared corners. One face features an incised arrow mark, while another face has an Ordnance Survey bench mark. The top of the stone is marked with an incised cross. Notably, half of this boundary stone is situated in the civil parish of Somerford.
