Description
The Dairy House at Whiteway Farm is a house with an attached dairy, likely built in the early 17th century. It features rubble stone walls and a stone slate roof, with a rebuilt stone stack. The building has an L-shaped plan and stands two storeys tall. The east elevation includes a large buttress and two doorways, one of which has a stable door. On the ground floor, there are two three-light stone mullioned windows, while the first floor has two three-light and two two-light similar windows, with remnants of lead lights. The main room on the ground floor contains a large open brick fireplace. The building was under repair at the time of the survey in 1984.
