Description

Moorland Cottage is a semi-detached cottage located in East Knighton, attached to Heath View on the north side. It dates from the late 18th century to early 19th century and features plastered cob walls and a thatched roof with a brick stack. The cottage has one storey and an attic. At the front, there is a brick porch with a tiled roof and a ledged door. The ground floor includes two horizontally sliding sash windows with glazing bars, while the attic has two half-dormers with casement windows that also have glazing bars. To the north, there is a single-storey extension with plastered walls and a thatched roof, which contains four casement windows with glazing bars. Additionally, there is a flat-roofed extension at the rear.
