Description

The Primary School was built in 1848. It is constructed of flint and brick with brick dressings and has a gable-ended slate roof. The building follows an E-plan, with gabled cross-wings and a porch. The right-hand cross wing may be a later addition. The style is Gothic Revival, featuring mainly three-light stone mullioned windows with square heads. These windows contain two-centred heads and simple 'Y' tracery. Trefoils are present in the gable copings. A loop window is located in the left gable.
