Description

Crown Cottage is a cottage, likely built in the mid-18th century. It features banded flint and rubble at the base, with rendered walls above. There are some 20th-century brick dressings. The cottage has a gable-ended thatched roof with brick stacks at each end, and the gable end faces the road. It is two storeys high and has a three-window range. The windows are probably 19th-century two-light casements with glazing bars above. To the left of the door is a 20th-century casement with glazing bars, and to the right is a 20th-century window without glazing bars. There are also some uPVC casements on the gable, and the door is a 20th-century glazed design.
