Description

Hodgecliff Cottage is a cottage that likely dates back to the early 18th century. The lower part of the building is made of banded flint and rubble, while the upper part is rendered and colorwashed. There are some brick and rubble dressings present. The cottage features a half-hipped thatched roof with a brick stack located partway along the ridge. It is two storeys high and has a range of four windows. The windows are primarily two-light casements with glazing bars, except for the window to the right of the front door, which is a three-light 20th-century casement. The cottage also has a 20th-century porch and front door.
