Description

These four buildings, at numbers 15, 16, 17, and 18 East Street, likely date from the early 19th century. They are constructed of brick, with some areas colourwashed. The roofs are low-pitched slate, and brick stacks are visible. Number 15 has a glazed door on its rounded corner, positioned beneath an elliptical arch, although the door is now within a modern shop front. The first floor has two double-hung sash windows facing East Street; one retains glazing bars, while the other is blocked. A similar window is situated on the corner above the door. Two further windows face Park Lane. Number 16 features a modern shop front and one double-hung sash window on the first floor, with glazing bars. Number 17 has a modern door set within an original arched opening, alongside a modern shop window. The first floor contains a single double-hung sash window. Number 18 also has a modern shop front and two double-hung sash windows with glazing bars on its first floor.
