The Rising Sun Inn, located at No 38 East Street, has early 19th century origins and was formerly known as the Royal Oak. The building features rendered walls and a slate roof, with rendered stacks. It is two storeys tall with an attic. The ground floor has a central door framed by a classical surround and topped with a flat hood supported by pilasters, along with two modern windows.
