Description

The fountain on the north wall of No 11 is a mid-19th century structure designed in the Neo Norman style. It features a granite basin and is supported by two squat attached columns that have spiral decorations and moulded capitals. These columns hold up an elaborate decorated semi-circular arch. This fountain is part of a group that includes No 11, The Fountain, Messrs Norman Goods Warehouse, No 13 (Clarence House), the Methodist Church, the Bridport Arms Hotel, Ship Cottage, Gull House, The Dinghy, and Pier Terrace.
