Description

This is a 19th-century building block located on the south side of St James Street, comprising numbers 16 to 22 (even). It has two storeys and a uniform design, with a single window bay and a door for each property. The building is constructed of stone with red brick dressings. It is included on the heritage register due to its contribution to the street scene.

Numbers 16 to 22 (even), including the Two Brewers Inn and outbuilding, numbers 26 to 30 (even), an outhouse to number 30, stone setts outside numbers 26 and 32, and a boundary wall to the southwest of number 32 form a group and are viewed from Park Walk.
