Description
The stables to The Down House are a stable block built partly in the late 18th century and partly in the early 19th century. The structure features brick walls topped with hipped tiled roofs and is arranged in an L-shape. It is a single-storey building with lofts. The original section includes a central round-headed carriageway, flanked by two round-headed windows, which are further accompanied by circular lights. The entrance has double plank doors. The later section of the stables contains four coach houses and showcases irregular fenestration.
