Description

The Stour Inn, located on Dorchester Hill near Blandford St Mary, dates from the late 18th or early 19th century. It is a two-storey building with colourwashed rendered walls and rusticated quoins on the left side. The roof is tiled, with stone slate margins, and has brick stacks positioned left and right of centre. The building has an irregular five-window arrangement. The upper floor features nine-pane sash windows. The ground floor includes two canted bays with sashes, flanking a central doorway with a flat hood. A 20th-century bay is present on the left. There are three visible entrances: a panelled door on the left, a part-glazed door to the left of centre, and a plank door on the right.
