Description

Old Ford House is a detached house that dates from the early 18th century at the east end and the early 19th century at the west end. The building features rendered, colour-washed walls with a tiled roof on the earlier section and a hipped slate roof on the later section. There are brick stacks located at various points along the ridge. The house has two storeys and attics with an irregular arrangement of windows. The earlier part of the house has wrought-iron casements with leaded lights, while the later part features 16-pane sash windows. There are flush-panelled doors positioned throughout the building.
