Description

Nos. 8 and 9 Dorchester Road are a pair of cottages built in the mid 19th century. They are constructed from banded brick and flint, featuring brick dressings. The cottages have an ornamental tile roof with brick stacks at both ends and in the center. They are symmetrical, standing two storeys high with a total of four windows. The windows are cast-iron casements with diamond-pane lights, set beneath flat, gauged brick arches. The porches are adorned with barge-boards and have segmental-pointed gauged brick arches, while the doors are part-glazed.
