Description
No 4 on Cheap Street is a former commercial property dating back to 1625, now restored in an 18th-century style. The front is made of colourwashed brick and features a slate eaves cornice. The central section of the building projects slightly forward. The sash windows, which have been replaced with new sashes and altered glazing bars, are adorned with keystones and aprons. The ground floor includes a modern Georgian shop front, complete with fluted Tuscan pilasters and an entablature. This building is part of a group that includes Nos 2 to 30 (even) and Nos 34 to 50 (even).
