Description

This building comprises two properties, Nos. 4 and 4A, located on Bridge Street. Dating from the 18th century to the early 19th century, it is a three-storey structure with a slate gabled roof. The front facade is stuccoed. The second floor features two paired sash windows with intact glazing bars above the ground floor level. A 19th-century shop window is also present. A passage is situated at the left-hand end, leading to a six-panelled door. Nos. 4 and 4A, along with Nos. 5 and 6 on Bridge Street, the Guildhall, No. 62 Church Street, and Nos. 42-47 Coombe Street, form a group of buildings of group value.
