Description
Kenmore is an 18th-century building located on the west side of Church Street. It features a gable end facing the street and consists of two storeys and an attic. The exterior is finished in stucco, topped with a slate roof. The building has sash windows with glazing bars, including one window on the second floor and two on the first floor. On the ground floor, there is a doorway with a half-glazed door at the left end, accompanied by a three-light window to its right, both situated under a common fascia. At the right end of the ground floor, there is another doorway framed by pilasters, an entablature, and a moulded hood, leading to a six-panelled door, of which the top four panels are glazed. Kenmore, along with Tudor House Hotel and Nos 6 to 12 on Church Street, forms a group, with the north front of the Guildhall providing a visual stop at the south end of this group.
