Description

Oakley House is a late 18th to early 19th century building of three storeys and three window bays, situated on Church Street. The roof is slate covered, and the front is stuccoed. The windows are sash windows with glazing bars, with a three-light window at either end of each floor. The central first-floor window is wider, with three panes. The centre doorway has pilasters and an entablature, and contains a six-panelled door with the upper four panels glazed. Oakley House forms a group with Nos 60 to 62 (consec) and The Guildhall on Bridge Street.
