Description
Keyneston Lodge is a detached house located in Tarrant Keyneston. The building features an early 18th-century service range, a late 18th-century main range, and additional early 19th-century extensions. It has rendered cob walls and a tiled roof with brick stacks at each end. The house is two stories tall with attics and consists of seven bays. The upper floor is adorned with 12-pane sash windows, while the ground floor includes projecting extensions with tri-partite designs. The central bays feature sash windows and a doorway with a fanlight, all sheltered by a lattice porch.
Inside, the lower flight of stairs has been remodeled in the 19th century, while the upper flight retains its original form, complete with column-shaped balusters.
