Description

This is a late 18th and 19th century building of three storeys and five bays. It has a gabled slate roof and a colourwashed rendered front. The second floor features two sets of late 19th-century sash windows. The first floor has two sash windows, one to the left and one in the centre, and a modern two-light casement on the right-hand end. On the ground floor, from left to right, is a sash window where the glazing bars are missing, with a cellar shute below; a passageway provides access to entrances for the houses and a shop located in the side returns; and a plate glass shop window that appears to fit within the original window opening. The building forms a group with The Langmoor, the Baptist Church on Silver Street, numbers 34 to 36 Broad Street, and numbers 1 and 2 Pound Street.
