Description

White Lodge is a house dating from the 19th century. It has a gable end facing the street. The house is two storeys and an attic, with a slate roof and plain bargeboards along the eaves. The front is rendered with pebbledash. The attic storey features a small three-pane sash window. Below that, on the first floor, are two four-pane sash windows. On the ground floor, there is a five-pane sash window to the left, and a plain stuccoed doorway to the right, with a six-panelled door where the top two panels have been cut away and glazed. A tall, narrow, square-headed sash window, divided into three panes wide and eight panes deep, is located in the return side of the building, close to the corner shared with White House.
